Politics: RNC ratings
Drudge reports on the ratings for last night's RNC coverage:
What I do care about is that FNC beats MSNBC in this total by more than a 3-to-1 margin, and I cannot figure out how. Don't get me wrong, I love Brit Hume and his panel of contributors: Mort Kondracke, Fred Barnes, Bill Kristol, Juan Williams and Mara Liasson. But the the rest of the coverage is mediocre. O'Reilly is often unwatchable (depending on his guests), and even with good interviews, he usually seems more intent on propping himself than providing analysis. Hannity & Colmes grates after about five minutes and Greta Van Sustren? Zzzzzzzzzz...
Despite Chris Matthews, MSNBC has solid coverage. Joe Scarborough might be the best in the business right now, and even with sidekick Ron Reagan playing the role of Mr. Know-it-all, their lively banter trumps Hannity's and Colme's partisan bickering by about tenfold.

FOXNEWS -- 5.2 MILLIONI'm surprised at these figures. Yeah yeah, we all know about FNC and its conservative leanings. I don't care about that.
NBC -- 5.1 MILLION
CBS -- 4.4 MILLION
ABC -- 4.3 MILLION
MSNBC -- 1.6 MILLION
CNN -- 1.5 MILLION
